Our Needs

Former President Jimmy Carter volunteers his time and money with Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity can not exist without the tireless and selfless efforts of the community around us. We are always looking for people to step up and volunteer their time and skills.
Here are a few ways that you can help starting today:
- Your cash contributions fund our mission to help low-income families realize their dream of home ownership and help us meet the daily needs of the members of the South Haven community. Click here to set up your donation today.
- Give your time. We are always in need of workers to help build our houses. Whether you are a seasoned contractor or completely new to home construction, we can use your skills. Click here to find out how to start volunteering today.
- Join our team. All of our different programs and endeavors require a large infrastructure of invested volunteers. We are looking for people to serve on and lead committees that raise funds, plan events, advertise our programs, and build community awareness of housing issues. - Recycle your used building materials. We hold an annual sale where we these materials in order to provide low cost items for local home repair while raising money for future building programs. If you want to donate your used items, click here to find out when and where to drop off your materials.
In addition, the SHA Habitat for Humanity Board is in need of the following positions:
- Grant Writers
- Administrative
- Volunteers to assist
- Fundraisers
- Licensed Builders
- Board Members
UPDATE: SHAHH needs a building or land (up to two acres) in a commercial zone or one that can be rezoned to commercial to build an office and warehouse under one roof.
